Our staff profile
CYFSD has a multidisciplinary team of 18 senior researchers and 80 full-time research and support staff, as well as part-time University-based senior researchers, working out of offices in Durban, Pretoria, and Cape Town. Collectively, we have a total of 247 years of research experience. In addition, we engage in capacity development by employing trainees, research assistants and associates on project work. Academics working in related areas, in South Africa and abroad, are invited to spend all or a part of their sabbatical leave with us.
