What we do The Policy Analysis Unit (PAU) was established in September 2006 through funding from the National Department of Science & Technology. It facilitates the generation of policy recommendations based on research evidence and policy dialogues, in five priority policy areas: - poverty reduction
- employment
- quality education
- HIV and AIDS
- service delivery.
