Abstract :
The purpose of the project is to develop the indicators to measure and monitor the development of the knowledge-based economy in South Africa, as well as to develop a suitable system of measurement in this regard. The project also involves the development of indicators and measurement instruments concerning the Technology Balance of Payments. This report provides an overview of the approach, the project process and timelines, project budget, project team and capacity development plan, as well as progress to date.
