Ms Arlene Grossberg is a senior researcher in the Policy Analysis Unit (PAU). She has worked in the fields of musicology, cultural studies and communications. She was the first recipient of the Jenny Basson Memorial Prize awarded by the Foundation for Education, Science and Technology for research in 1987. She has participated as a researcher and project leader, and also co-ordinated several international conferences, national and regional workshops and research programmes. She has undertaken various identity studies, including her forthcoming co-authored publication, Pretoria: A City in Transition. |
