Ms Jarè Struwig is a chief researcher in the Knowledge Systems (KS) research programme. She has an MA in research psychology from the University of Pretoria.
She has extensive experience in social science research, especially in the areas of media and information communication technologies. She also has a special interest in tourism and development and is currently in the process of enrolling for a PhD in this field. Her interest is mainly in quantitative research, which entails managing large-scale surveys, designing research instruments and analysing data sets.
Ms Struwig is the author of 17 HSRC research reports, co-author of 41 research reports and has read three papers at international conferences. She authored an article on contextualising the global information revolution in a development arena, which appeared in Communicare. |
