ANC’s priorities different from ordinary citizens

To attend a breakfast on the day of the Opening of Parliament, hosted by The New Age newspaper with special guest President Jacob Zuma, will set one back R800.

These very breakfasts have been the subject of controversy as it has come to light that state-owned enterprises such as Telkom and Eskom have been sponsoring them.

As consumers and taxpayers, we have more than passing interest in the way Telkom and Eskom spend our money.Yet, that is one dimension to this argument.
