There is a growing awareness of the serious problem of child abuse throughout the world. However, a big problem in the fight against child abuse is the fact that not all cases are reported, often due to a community’s ignorance.

Some community members turn a blind eye to child abuse when they are aware of it, simply because they don’t want to become involved in court cases, etc.

However the people with this attitude must remember that innocent child victims can’t protect themselves from the abuse they suffer.
