SOUTH Africa is food secure yet many people – including children – remain undernourished.
This was revealed by research fellow at the Human Science Research Council (HSRC) and chairwoman of the Tiger Brands Foundation, Dr Miriam Altman, when presenting the findings of a pilot study the foundation had done on its in-school breakfast feeding programme. The programme was started in 2011.
