HSRC Study on COVID-19 indicates overwhelming compliance with the lock down

The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Dr Blade Nzimande announced the results of the survey conducted by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) of the impact and awareness of the coronavirus amongst South Africans that is currently sweeping across the world, including the country.
The survey comes amidst the unprecedented spread of the virus across the world which necessitated that South Africa implement a lock down from 27 March to 30 April to impede the spread of the virus and the rates of infection.
