Access is provided to research outputs generated by HSRC researchers since 2000. All research outputs are provided free of charge to the public, with the exception of confidential reports. Where possible the full-text is provided for immediate download. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of an output which is not immediately available for download, please contact the Digital Curation Team at researchoutputs@hsrc.ac.za.

Searching for a research output
- Please use the Search box below to search by typing in a keyword from the research output you are looking for. This could be the author's name, the topic, publication year or any theme within the Research Output (e.g. AIDS, Altman, Apartheid, South African education etc.).
- Alternately, you can filter by Department, by Year Published or by Output Type (e.g. newspaper article, journal etc).
- By clicking on the Keywords link, a list of all Research Outputs keywords appears. You can click on any keyword to bring up a list of all Research Outputs linked to that keyword. For example, to view all Research Outputs linked to Abortion, click on the Abortion keyword in the list.
