Abstract

This document provides an assessment of the processes, conditions and limitations of public participation and community engagement in the City of Cape Town (CoCT) administration. Based on an analysis of institutional challenges as well as examples of good practice, the report provides recommendations to support an enabling environment to strengthen engagement practices.
